The Ouroboros Ministry is an organization of enormous importance that operates at both national and international levels. Its primary mission isn't based on mere curiosity, but on the protection of people and the generation of income at the expense of the imperfections of our reality, seeking to extract the greatest possible benefit from them. For more than four decades, the ministry has worked behind the veil of public awareness, acting as the first and last line of defense between humanity and the unexplainable. Our task is clear: to monitor, contain or eliminate threats that defy the laws of nature and that represent a level of danger to a community or region, no matter how minimal it may be. These threats have been referred to in many ways over the years, abominations, yōkai, cryptids, among others, however, here they're designated as OM objects or, in a less formal way, anomalies. An anomaly can be many things, from a conscious lifeform not yet cataloged by the scientific community, objects with incomprehensible characteristics, to places that defy the known laws of physics.
